SSL-Certificate-Service:
To avoid misuse it's vital in a WLAN environment that nobody can catch your code-numbers. By using Secure Socket Layer with 128-bit (1024bit RSA-Key) WORLD WLAN uses the same level of security just as in online-banking. The SSL-certificate will be held up for free. Due to the fact that is properly registered and fully trusted to a root-certification-authority, browsers like Internet-Explorer accept the ssl-certificate without showing any alerts like they would on non-trusted certificates.
Portal CMS:
With the online Content Management System you get pre-defined portal-webpages for handling the logon-process to your clients. You get a password to logon to the content management system and change these default pages to the style and layout you prefer. Whether you want to type plain HTML or use the built-in HTML-editor is up to you. The multi-language pages you can edit are: Logon-Page, Welcome-Page, Logoff-Page, Popup-Window-Page (for displaying the remaining time), "Code unknown"-Page, "Code-Balance"-Page, "Code has expired"-Page. Billing-Service:
Our billing service generates new codes and stores the remaining time to each individual customer for at least 12 to 24months. New codes can be purchased online at a minimum fee and will be delivered instantly. You are absolutely free to charge any commission you think is appropriate for using your hotspot.
Payment-Service:
New and conveniant online payment methods will be put here to allow customers to use online or mobile commerce-service like SMS-payment, credit-cards or simular. This service will soon be finished and more infos will be available.
SMTP-Service:
This is a special service, which patches the following issue: If a hotspot-user has an email-account registered at e.g. T-Online and the hotspot-operates on a different service-provider then look at this: If he wants to receive or send an email to e.g. AOL, Arcor, or some other then he will not be allowed due to spam-protection policies of major telecommunication companies. With our SMTP-Service we apply a working patch to this problem and the user can send email, regardless where his email-account resides and where the hotspot operator is registered.
Marketing-Service:
Announcing a new public hotspot is much easier with our free marketing material, which you will get as bonus. Nice and attractive plakats in DIN-A2-formfactor (420mmx594mm) can be placed on doors (e.g. to congress-rooms), in the lobby, near the reception or whereever you like. Plus: You will also get flyers for free, giving your guests some advice on how they easily connect to the wireless-lan.
Roaming/Alliance-Services:
The WORLD WLAN device is per default a member of the universal roaming-group. An operator can generate codes and allows exchange of codes with other venue-owners.
Choice is free to quit this alliance and form an own closed user-group. A group-leader decides which other WORLD WLAN hot spot is allowed to join the new group. Hot Spots can be combined and arranged by interests or affiliations. Web-based group-administration is easy and 100% free.
